Monthly Archives: December 2007

that time of year

a tale told by an idiot — full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”

its time to forgo the simpler gratifiactions and on to something more profiund…perhaps the only legacy i can leave…go beyond the love of woman and to the much more far reaching, the profound, deep, expansive….

LIKE THE touched PEOPLE THAT didnt quite make it to the space ship in close encounters….

the voice was good but not that good…or was it no commitment to anything in particular… the procrastination and avaoidence of most kinds of manual labor….given cerebral though…free range cerebral…internet grazing on the fields of the internet…

work in a think tank

and you know whn ur lyin in bed and ur leg twitches or worse jerks? it means a rebel commander somewhere is getting executed…ya know like an angel get its wings?

If 50 is the new 40, does that mean 25 is the new 15?

December is brutal; obstacles bewilder.

Melancholy fogs reality; the heat is on.

Hawkers want it all; no interest for this.

Spirits to drink or enlighten; used to illuminate.

December pine’s in darkness.

Manuever through softness and pricks.

Clearing up ahead somewhere; January.

End of indulgence; procrastination.

Internal meandering; pessimistic reflection.

Murky oh eight; five oh looms.

Destiny unfulfilled; almost through.

As life goes by, truths emerge….

“We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.” -Maya Angelou

“I do not have an excess of anything. Some would say I have too little. Yet each day I try to get rid of something else. I will not indulge.” –Siji Tzu Rules for Living

“Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try to understand each other we may even become friends.” -Maya Angelou

Pet Peeve…

I usually don’t complain about other people. Really. Seriously.

But I have to make an exception. Not only do I abhor these obviously over-compensated folks who I see trying to back their behemoth Giant-Queen Mary-Extended-Mega-SUV out of parking spots, but why must they also be attempting this ONE HANDED while making a call????

Please control your luxury liners!!!

…And I can no longer listen to the Monday Night Football announcers on ESPN. UGH!
